Introduction
We are pleased to provide you, especially beginners, with an
explanation of our product, 「BEAUTY UKON/350」(Temporary name)that is turmeric extract
containing curcumin of 350 times absorption factor by being dissolved curcumin
in cooking oils such as extra virgin olive oil.
The turmeric is a medical
herb of the ginger department of an annual plant the first grader that is
called UTCHIN, UKON, Curcuma and turmeric as a spice, etc. We use its rhizome
usually.It is known well in a
Japanese country that the turmeric is a specific medicine of the liver and
effective well for the hangover. Also, effective in cancer and Alzheimer is
being clarified by recent worldwide research. However, it cannot be said that
the pharmacologic effect of the turmeric will be known worldwide.
１.History of turmeric
The turmeric is
symbolized in the curry and has been eaten all over the world in history as
human race's important food. In
India and Asia, it is patronized as one of the important herbs
still though the usage is different.
The turmeric is a plant
of the ginger department and grows naturally in the provinces to the subtropics
Okinawa prefecture in Japan from tropical India and is cultivated. There are about 50 kinds of
the kinds. However, only several
kinds of are being used as a medicinal use.
Most kinds are Turmeric, Wild
turmeric, Zedoary、Medicinal turmeric and Black turmeric, and other such
turmeric.
All the above-mentioned
turmeric is cultivated and the examination cultivation is advanced in Okinawa prefecture.
The history for which the
turmeric is used as a medicine in Okinawa ( in a Ryukyu dynastic age), is old. The management cultivation was
severely done as monopoly goods under the Ryukyu king in a Ryukyu dynastic age.
The grown turmeric seems to have been sold to the Japanese whole country as a
panacea through SATSUMA.

２.Pharmacologic effect of turmeric
It is a liver function
improvement and an effect of the hangover improvement that is known best by the
pharmacologic effect of the turmeric.
Refer to data 1.： There is a functionality of the turmeric
from the liver function improvement to the Alzheimer and the cancer control.
The curcumin is strong anti-oxide.
Refer to data 2.：It was clarified that the curcumin was effective
in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease by Prof. Yamada of the Kanazawa University graduate school.
In recent years, the
liver function improvement, the controlling effect of cancer and the Alzheimer
prevention effect are researched all over the world, and the result is obtained.
The turmeric effective in the liver function improvement is discovered in a
Ryukyu age of the dynasty, and has arrived at the present age. However, it is
recognized only at the stomach and intestines medicine level though it arrives
in Ayurveda and the Chinese medicine now.
The turmeric has a strong
antioxidation effect which is that the anti-aging is effective. The effect of rejuvenation can be expected.
In addition, there is an action that improves the bile excretion.In the rat examination,
bile 2-3 times the normal was admitted to be excreted by administering
our product of turmeric extract.
Detoccs action of toxin, that
is, effect of exhaust will rise because the liver excretes the toxin generated
in the inside of the body as bile.
In addition, it is true
known well that the decrease in the liver function is a cause of the skin
roughness. On the other hand, if the liver function is normalized, the skin becomes

３. The turmeric is
dissolved in the cooking oil and the absorption factor of the curcumin has been
increased by 350 times.
Though it is the turmeric
with a wonderful like this pharmacologic effect, we are wrong for the intake of
the active ingredient curcumin. It is hardly absorbed to the body that the
turmeric is taken the shape of the powder or the tablet with water in common Okinawa, because the curcumin is not dissolved in water.
On the other hand, the
absorption factor rises when the curcumin is dissolved in the cooking oil that
blend is specially done by a special method. We, Microcell Co. Ltd. researched and developed the know-how of this manufacturing in advance
of the world putting it for years.It is the turmeric extract that this
explains in the product explanations.
If the absorption factor
rises, the pharmacologic effect can be expected to rise that much.

4. Curcumin of 350 times absorption factor
Microcell Co. Ltd. have
been doing a joint research on the turmeric extract turmeric extract containing
the curcumin is dissolved in the cooking oil that blend is specially done by a
special method with Organization of Okinawa Prefecture, Okinawa Industry
Technology Center. Also, we did a joint research of absorption test on curcumin
by using a rat with Sakamotobio Inc. The method of examining
absorption oral administers of the following samples to the rat. These are; ① a sample that
dissolved curcumin in water; ② a sample that melted curcumin in cooking oil; ③ a sample of
turmeric extract in which curcumin is dissolved by a method of Microcel Co.Ltd.
Bile is gathered from the
bile duct and the curcumin and the metabolic thing of the curcumin are measured
by the time passage.
Figure 4 is a summary to
figure as for acquired data through the above-mentioned absorption test.
Explanation of Figure 4
１）Graph of the left, C＋water is an amount of total of curcumin and
metabolic thing in bile when the above-mentioned sample ① was oral
administered. It is not possible to measure it at all. Measurement lower bound
of measuring instrument is 1.6 μｇ.
２）Graph of the middle, C＋Oil is an amount
of total of curcumin and metabolic thing in bile when the above-mentioned
sample②was oral administered. Amount of measurement is 26 μｇ／ｍｌ.
３) Graph of the right, the sample ③ of the turmeric
extract was administered. Amount of measurement is 571 μｇ／ｍｌ.
Calculation
Comparison between 1) and
3)
571÷1.6=350 times
That is, the absorption
factor of the turmeric extract is a measurement result in which it is 350 times
higher than the case to drink the powder of the turmeric.
５．Winning of highest award
The absorption factor of
the turmeric extract that Microcell Co. Ltd. had developed was high and it was
evaluated. And in 1999, the highest award was won from the Prefectural governor
at an industrial festival of Okinawa Prefecture, Invention Device Exhibition.

６. Raw material and process of manufacture
The elements of the
turmeric such as Turmeric, Wild Turmeric and Zedoary collected from all over
the world including Okinawa were measured in cooperation with the Okinawa industrial technology center. As for the raw material of the
turmeric extract, those best turmeric are used as a medicine. Of course, we are confirming safety about
foreign.
Table 6 is measurements of the curcumin of the turmeric extract.
Data 7 is an article that the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in a Japanese country
confirmed the safety of the curcumin.
